How might we make offices more biophilic through plants?
Growshelf is a highly adaptable shelving unit. It can be used as a shelving unit, a table or a room divider providing semi translucent screen that wont make the room too oppressive and claustrophobic. Instead it provides prospect and refuge to the workers, also stimulating visual senses through plants. Plants also clean the air and provide a natural screen protecting workers from germs and viruses like COVID-19.
Metal boxes act as surface for shelving or, when turned up, a box where to keep items or plants. When used as a plant container it can be filled with water making the maintenance of the plants easier and cheaper, because the water reserve can last up to 2 months. Plant box comes also with a signalling device letting know when more water is needed.
